the Monthly Meeting is part of a religious movement without formal Creed or dogma clergy or outward ceremonies. We welcome into our fellowship all who humbly and sincerely seek spiritual values and an ethical way of life. We strive for peace and dignity for All peoples equally and seek to make Friends' testimony plain by our words and our deeds.

Our Path

What are we doing?

We are building a Friends meeting in outer Brooklyn focused on service to those who have historically been targeted or otherwise mistreated by ANY organized religion (INCLUDING ours). Bi us for us—willing gentrifiers need not apply.

We are Friends engaged in public ministry.

While we don’t have enough funds for bookkeeping yet, we are preemptively committing to complete funding transparency, as that seems repeatedly to become a source of discord and mismanagement in organizations. For now, that probably just means screenshots. In the future, possibly the purview of an economic justice committee of Friends?
